Sargent completed a $7.6 million landfill expansion project at the Mt. Carberry Secure Landfill in Success, New Hampshire, constructing a new 12-acre cell for the Androscoggin Valley Regional Refuse Disposal District. The work included placing large volumes of low-permeability soil and sand, installing a liner system and leachate collection infrastructure, and building a pump station. Finished in December 2025 with minor follow-up work planned, the cell is expected to be operational by late 2026 or early 2027. The project built on Sargent’s prior work at the site and was completed with minimal challenges, reflecting strong collaboration with project partners.
