Sargent completed a six-month project in Westbrook, Maine, installing a new remote pump station for ecomaine to replace aging infrastructure that manages landfill leachate. The work included demolition, earthwork, and installation of a 30,000-gallon below-grade tank, along with a new pump system to collect and transfer leachate to the treatment plant. Crews maintained continuous operations by using temporary bypass pumping during construction. Finished in December 2025, the project supports ecomaine’s waste management operations and marked a milestone as the first project led by a new Sargent superintendent.
