Sargent is providing sitework for a new 50-bed Encompass Health rehabilitation hospital in Bangor, Maine, working with longtime construction partner Robins & Morton on the fast-tracked project. Work includes earthwork, foundation excavation, water and sewer utilities, storm drainage, a large detention pond, paving, curbing, and general site finishes. Construction began in summer 2025, with approximately 14 Sargent employee-owners working on site at any given time to support the accelerated schedule. The hospital’s Phase 1 facility is expected to open in fall 2026.
