Sargent constructed two mechanically stabilized earthen (MSE) berms for the project. The project allows for vertical landfill expansion, adding approximately 3.2 million cubic yards of waste capacity and extending the site’s operational life until 2043. The scope includes building 6,942 linear feet of MSE berms with 250,000 cubic yards of structural fill and installing landfill gas and leachate piping.
