This new campground facility adjacent to the Schoodic Point portion of Acadia National Park in Winter Harbor consisted of the construction of 94 campsites, a ranger station, a day-use parking area, public restrooms, a staff housing building, a maintenance building, eight miles of bike paths, five miles of hiking trails, and a 100-seat amphitheater.
Overall, we installed 2,700 linear feet of sewer pipe, 7,000 LF of 2″ force main, three pump stations, 11 septic tanks, six leach fields, two wells, a chlorination system, a 10,000-gallon holding tank, 14,000 LF of water line, 19,000 LF of electric trenches, and 29 electrical vaults.
