Sargent completed earthwork for a new three-story self-storage facility along the Androscoggin River in Auburn, overcoming challenges with contaminated soil and difficult site conditions. The 5.46-acre site required tree clearing, demolition, and significant grading, including constructing a SierraScape retaining wall to raise the site by 20 feet. Stormwater management features, including two lined filter ponds, were also built. A collaborative effort with multiple contractors resolved soil issues, keeping the contaminated material on-site.
